Special Club 2010

A 2010, yes but, says the connoisseur, pointing out that this vintage is generally not a greatness. 2010, a difficult year: after a dry and rather hot spring and summer, there was abundant rain from August 15, which affected the ripeness of the grapes and at that time the growth of the impaired and brought mainly botrytis. It required a lot of effort on the part of the winemakers to get the grapes to ripeness.

This 2010 Club, it has been waiting a few years to open, therefore demands respect: the assemblage is dominated by Cramant, with over 60%, plus Chouilly and Cuis, and a small proportion from Vertus. The highlight of the grapes from Cramant: a dozen old vines that are over 40 years old, in addition, almost 40 percent of the grapes from Cramant are harvested from vines planted in 1911 and 1913.

The acidity combines with substance, a wine to eat or to ponder the question of why Immanuel Kant's thinking can also be interpreted as a cold-water establishment.
